As people can see, I slowing coming back into art. I have a few pieces of photography up, and Im working on a painting as we speak. Im not sure how its going to turn out, but who knows...
The end
A brutal truth. I no longer paint from love, but from desperate need. More like a drug habit than a passion. I can not seem to see the beauty, or find the peace, necessary to paint anything that speaks truly, or feels real. In art, and in life, I am losing the ability to feel anything except the constant, crushing, pain that is causing me to become a travesty of the very subjects I paint.
Art, by it's nature, is, and should be, an act of hope.
Hope, that although I search, I am unable to find, or to believe in.
